Hallelujah, Leslie!, a special production starring Leslie Uggams, has been successfully recovered and restored by DC Video. It was recorded on two-inch Quad videotape at NBC Brooklyn in 1968 but broadcasted on April 8, 1969. This program was directed by Steve Binder. The Technical Director was O. Tamburri. The videotape editor (Editec) was Peter Groom. I would later get to know all three of these individuals while working at NBC Burbank.
This videotape was shipped out to Burbank from the east. It was a very worn out reel of 3M 399 non back coated stock, known to be very fragile. Fortunately with a lot of patience, we were able to reproduced 100% of the 55 year old videotape.

The show main title as captured as a frame grab from two-inch Quad videotape.
Here is a frame grab from the program, recorded on two-inch high-band color videotape.
This is one of several pieces of paperwork stored inside the two-inch videotape container.
This is the dilapidated shipping container holding this 55 year old videotape. Despite this situation, a successful transfer was accomplished.
