The Hoover Institute's recent exhibition Civil Discourse: William F. Buckley Jr.’s Firing Line, 1966–1999 commemorating the 50th anniversary of the show's launch highlighted the preservation efforts and methods by DC Video. Some of the formats that have been preserved are: 2 inch Quad, 1" Type C, 3/4" Umatic Cassette, Betacam SP and S-VHS videotapes.
